An IntroductionNjamy Sitson currently resides & works in Augsburg Germany since 2000. A multi-instrumentalist, composer, performer and actor. Njamy Sitson teaches African music (vocal polyphony & percussion) at the Augsburg University, Zurich University of the Arts & at the Freies Musikzentrum in Munich. He also conducts vocal workshops & seminars for choirs & classical orchestras in Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium & Spain. His teaching & pedagogic methods focuses on the use of the voice as a vocal instrument for polyphony & polyrhythm; harmony, melody, rhythm & pitch as well as development & enhancement of expressiveness, articulation & performance techniques. He has appeared in the movie " Oktober Fest " with Barbara Rudnik, and "Welcome to Bavaria" with Maximilian Brückner. As Lead actor in "Mein Deudshland" . He has co-composed music for the film, " Blutige Steine " by Donna Lean for ARD television. His albums " African Angel " and " Kulu " are now available, an afro contemporary music, inspired from african roots meeting the European classical music with jazz flavour.
